*All racers
under 18 must have a USCG approved PFD with them to race. And a parent/guardian must sign a waiver for racers under 18.
SUP SURF RODEOS - Every Saturday (Weather permitting)
More of a traditional surf
competition if "surf's up"; otherwise a graded "expression session". Either way, plenty of cash
and prizes for for the contestants and extraordinary viewing pleasure for spectators!
Joust:
more like a "noodle-war" (we can't use real spears, darn it). Beat your opponent off his or her board with a
harmless foam noodle. Hysterical (and not so easy)!
Fishing Derby: all summer long. $250 prize
for first gamefish of Season, and $100 for any other gamefish caught from a paddleboard within sight of the Surfside5 viewing
deck. Must comply with all local and state fishing laws and be witnessed by a Surfside5 manager.
REGISTRATION FEES:
$200 for all six "Elite"
races or $40 per individual race. $100 for all six "Recreational" races or $20 per individual race.
$75 for all six "Youth" races or $15 per individual race.
There are no registration fees for
the Rodeo! But you will be asked to sign a waiver at the time you join an event.
